Four stages, worked back from day one

Pick the date. We plan backward from it, so every order, build and test happens in time. Here is what happens at each stage, and what we need from you.

  1. T‑30 days Plan

Discovery, inventory and the decisions that shape everything after.

  2. T‑21 to T‑7 Build

Domain, tenant, devices and network built. Migration dry run.

  3. Day one Go live

Cutover overnight. Our team on site and on call when the doors open.

  4. Days 1 to 30 Settle

Tune, train and close the gaps a real week of work turns up.

  5. After day 30 Ongoing care

Handed over to KDTS managed security and IT.

T‑30 days

Plan

Discovery, inventory and decisions. Everything else follows from this month.

What we do

  • A working session with the partners or project lead
  • Inventory of people, roles, devices, software and data
  • Recommendation on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, with reasons
  • Internet and any long-lead items ordered
  • A dated plan working back from day one

What we need from you

  • The target date and the address, if there is one
  • A staff list with roles and start dates
  • The domain name you want, or a shortlist
  • Your line-of-business software and its vendors’ contacts
  • Decisions on what data is coming with you, settled with your lawyer if needed

T‑21 to T‑7

Build

The environment is built and tested while nobody depends on it yet.

What we do

  • Domain and DNS on Cloudflare, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC published
  • Tenant configured to the KDTS security standard, backup running
  • Devices sourced, enrolled, secured and labelled
  • Network installed and tested in the space
  • Migration dry run with timings and a cutover plan
  • Signatures, website and starter policies drafted for your sign-off

What we need from you

  • Approvals on hardware and licences
  • Access to the old systems for the dry run, where you’re entitled to it
  • Brand files for signatures and the website
  • A review of the starter policies
  • Confirmation of the cutover window

Day one

Go live

The cutover happens the night before. The morning is about people, not systems.

What we do

  • Final migration pass and mail cutover overnight
  • Our team on site, or on a call, when the doors open
  • Staff walked through first sign-in and MFA, desk by desk
  • A running list of anything that needs attention, fixed the same day where possible

What we need from you

  • Staff who turn up expecting a short sign-in, not a day of setup
  • The announcement, sent from the new domain when you’re ready

Days 1 to 30

Settle

Real work exposes the small things. This is when we find and fix them.

What we do

  • Daily check-ins in the first week, then weekly
  • Tuning of sharing, printing, Wi-Fi and anything else that rubs
  • Short training on the things staff ask about most
  • A gap review against the insurer’s questions and your policies
  • Documentation of the finished environment, handed to you

What we need from you

  • Questions as they come up, sent to one address
  • Feedback on what is and isn’t working

After day 30

Ongoing care

GoLive Kit ends. Looking after you doesn’t.

The environment moves into KDTS managed security and IT: around-the-clock threat monitoring, patching, backup checks, support for your staff and an annual review. Same team, same documentation, no second onboarding.

Less than thirty days?

It can be done. The trade-off is choice: hardware from what’s in stock, internet from whoever can install soonest, and a migration with less rehearsal. Tell us the date and we’ll say honestly what’s realistic.

Pick a day one. We’ll work back from it.

Tell us the date, the headcount and where you’re moving from. A real person on our team replies within two business days.
